XLiveCD and Flamory

Flamory provides the following integration abilities:

  • Create and use window snapshots for XLiveCD
  • Take and edit XLiveCD screenshots
  • Automatically copy selected text from XLiveCD and save it to Flamory history

Screenshot editing

Flamory helps you capture and store screenshots from XLiveCD by pressing a single hotkey. It will be saved to a history, so you can continue doing your tasks without interruptions. Later, you can edit the screenshot: crop, resize, add labels and highlights. After that, you can paste the screenshot into any other document or e-mail message.

Application info

XLiveCD allows users of Microsoft Windows to connect to remote Unix computers, run graphical applications and have the graphics displayed on their desktops. The software runs from the CD without being installed. XLiveCD was prepared by University Technology Services to facilitate use of research Unix systems at Indiana University by Windows users on campus.

Can be made into a portable app with a little work.
