The simple yet actually fast source-level XML Editor XML Marker uses a combination of syntax-highlighting editor, tree view, and table views to help you get better insights of your XML code.

Even better, this very lightweight XML editor is capable of opening XML files in the hundreds of megabytes. The data is presented in tree, flat and tabularised (pseudo-spreadsheet) views, and in table form you can quickly sort items by whichever field you would like.

This software allows you to easily inspect XML files with little knowledge of XPath and XQuery.

Version 2.0 and newer are not free anymore. Older version don't have Unicode support though.
